Sellers United 2026 — Attendee Terms, Liability Waiver, and Photo Release
Read before purchasing. By purchasing a Sellers United 2026 ticket you agree to these terms, accept the assumption of risk and limited liability waiver, and grant the photo and recording release set out below. If you do not agree, do not purchase the ticket. A separate Code of Conduct also applies and is incorporated by reference.
1. Ticket and entry
- Ticket grants a revocable license. Your ticket is a personal, revocable license to attend Sellers United 2026 on the dates and at the venue stated above. It is not a property right.
- Right to deny entry or remove. Sellers United and the venue may deny entry or remove any attendee who violates these terms, the Code of Conduct, or venue rules, who poses a safety risk, or who is disruptive. No refund is owed in those cases.
- ID and badge. Attendees must show a valid government-issued photo ID matching the ticket holder name at registration, and must wear the issued badge visibly at all times inside the event footprint.
- Resale and transfer. Transfers are governed by the Refund and Transfer Policy at sellersunited.com/refund-policy. Resale outside that process is prohibited and may void the ticket.
- Casino property. The venue is a hotel and casino. Attendees must be 21 or older to enter gaming areas. Sellers United does not control the casino floor and is not responsible for any gaming activity, losses, or related conduct.
2. Assumption of risk
You understand that attendance at an in-person conference and trade show involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, equipment and booth hazards, crowd movement, exposure to communicable illness (including airborne and contact illness), allergic reactions to food or environmental factors, and incidental contact with other attendees, exhibitors, or speakers. You voluntarily assume all such inherent risks of attendance and participation.
3. Release and limitation of liability
- Release. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless AMZ United LLC d/b/a Sellers United, its officers, employees, contractors, vendors, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City (the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, or liabilities arising out of or related to your attendance, including ordinary negligence of the Released Parties.
- Carve-outs preserved. Nothing in this release waives liability for gross negligence, recklessness, willful or wanton misconduct, intentional acts, or any claim that cannot be waived by law. New Jersey law disfavors waivers that purport to release gross negligence or willful conduct, and those claims remain available to you.
- Liability cap. If, despite this release, the Released Parties are found liable to you for any claim arising from the event, total aggregate liability is limited to the amount actually paid by you for your ticket. Sellers United is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of business, profits, or travel and lodging costs.
- Personal property. You are responsible for your personal property at all times. Sellers United and the venue are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- Force majeure. If the event is postponed, rescheduled, relocated, or cancelled due to causes beyond reasonable control (natural disaster, public health emergency, government order, terrorism, venue failure, labor action, utility failure, or similar), Sellers United will follow the Refund Policy and is not liable for travel, lodging, or other incidental costs.
4. Photo, video, and recording release
- You grant Sellers United and its assigns the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable right and license to record, photograph, film, and audio-capture you at the event, and to use, reproduce, edit, publish, distribute, display, and create derivative works of those recordings, in any media now known or later developed, for marketing, promotional, editorial, educational, archival, and commercial purposes related to Sellers United and AMZ United LLC.
- You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished use, and waive any claim for compensation, royalty, or right of publicity related to that use.
- Sellers United will not use your name, likeness, or quoted statements in a manner that is false, defamatory, or unrelated to the event without your separate consent.
- If you do not want to be photographed during a specific moment, you may request a "no-photo" lanyard sticker at registration; Sellers United will use reasonable efforts to honor that signal in curated marketing material but cannot guarantee removal from wide-shot crowd footage or third-party attendee or press photography.
5. Attendee data and badge scanning
- Information you provide at ticket purchase (name, email, company, role, ticket type) is processed in accordance with the Sellers United Privacy Policy at sellersunited.com/privacy-policy.
- Sponsor and exhibitor lead retrieval: if you allow a sponsor or exhibitor to scan your badge, you are voluntarily sharing your registration data (name, email, company, role) with that sponsor for follow-up. Each sponsor is an independent controller of the data it scans and applies its own privacy practices.
- You may opt out of sponsor follow-up at any time by contacting the sponsor directly or by withdrawing consent through the contact form at sellersunited.com/contact-us.
6. Conduct and intellectual property
- You agree to follow the Sellers United Code of Conduct (sellersunited.com/code-of-conduct), venue rules, and any reasonable on-site instructions from Sellers United staff, speakers, or venue staff.
- Session and stage content is the intellectual property of the respective speakers and Sellers United. Audio and video recording, live-streaming, and rebroadcasting of any session is prohibited unless expressly authorized by Sellers United in writing. You may take photographs for personal social media use, subject to speaker discretion.
- Confidential information shared by other attendees, speakers, or sponsors during the event is not for redistribution. Treat attendee conversations as off the record unless you have explicit permission.
7. Prohibited items and activities
Weapons, illegal substances, outside alcohol or food in restricted areas, recording equipment intended for unauthorized rebroadcast, and any conduct that violates venue rules or applicable law are prohibited. The casino and venue maintain their own rules, including age restrictions on gaming and tobacco; those rules apply in addition to these terms.
8. Medical, accessibility, and minors
- If you have a medical condition or accessibility need, contact Sellers United in advance through the contact form at sellersunited.com/contact-us so reasonable accommodations can be coordinated with the venue. The accessibility statement at sellersunited.com/accessibility describes current offerings.
- Attendees under 18 years of age may attend only when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who holds a valid ticket and who signs an additional minor release at registration. Sellers United is not a childcare provider.
- In a medical emergency, on-site staff will coordinate with venue first aid and 911 services. You authorize Sellers United and the venue to provide or summon emergency aid on your behalf, at your sole cost.
9. Dispute resolution
- Informal resolution first. Before filing any action, contact Sellers United through the contact form at sellersunited.com/contact-us and allow 30 days for good-faith resolution.
- Governing law and venue. Contract claims are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflicts of laws. Tort claims arising from premises liability or on-site conduct in New Jersey may be governed by New Jersey law where applicable. Exclusive venue for any litigation is the state or federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas, or, for premises tort claims, Atlantic County, New Jersey, whichever has subject-matter jurisdiction.
- Class action waiver. You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, representative, or collective action.
10. Suitcasing and unauthorized sales
Sellers United does not permit suitcasing or sales activity by attendees. Only approved exhibitors and sponsors may promote, pitch, or sell products or services at the event. Attendees may not solicit, pitch, or attempt to sell to other attendees, including verbal pitches, demos, flyers, QR codes, business cards placed on tables, or digital solicitation during the event. Violations may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.
11. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cookie Policy, SMS Terms, and Code of Conduct, form the entire agreement between you and Sellers United regarding your attendance.
